It was good to get practical guides and lots of ideas that can be easily transferred into lessons. There are plenty of useful websites and it was good to get lots of ideas

Shed light on a lot of things. I don't know, what I don't know!

Very interesting and thought provoking. Well researched.

Good pace throughout and all points were relevant, interesting - helping to inform me of vital information.

Good to know that there is support from school and LA

The information given was invaluable and it was great to share and magpie all the other NQT’s ideas!

Lots of strategies shared which I have found useful and will be implementing in my classroom

We are experiencing some problems with booking via the website.  Can you please email EducationPerformance@leicester.gov.uk and I will book you onto the courses

Who are we?

The Primary team are an established, experienced team of School Improvement Advisors and consultants, some of whom are practicing Ofsted inspectors. Our skills have been developed over many years in school through experience of headships, leadership and management and advanced skills teaching. We believe in engaging with all stakeholders and therefore several of us sit on governing bodies across the region.

As a team we value continuing professional development, and as a result of this several of the team are qualified to Masters level in Education. We bring a breadth of knowledge from across the educational sector through active membership of national organisations such as: the editorial board of the UK literacy Association (UKLA); the Midlands Association for Achievement and Improvement through Assessment (MAAIA).

Our aim is to improve the quality of learning and teaching for all children in the city.
