The Primary team are an established, experienced team of School Improvement Advisors and consultants, some of whom are practicing Ofsted inspectors. Our skills have been developed over many years in school through experience of headships, leadership and management and advanced skills teaching. We believe in engaging with all stakeholders and therefore several of us sit on governing bodies across the region.
As a team we value continuing professional development, and as a result of this several of the team are qualified to Masters level in Education. We bring a breadth of knowledge from across the educational sector through active membership of national organisations such as: the editorial board of the UK literacy Association (UKLA); the Midlands Association for Achievement and Improvement through Assessment (MAAIA).
Our aim is to improve the quality of learning and teaching for all children in the city.
We offer a wide range of support to meet your school’s needs which can be accessed through bespoke school packages, one-to-one support, networks or central INSET. The focus of our work is in: Quality First Teaching; providing expertise in reading, writing, grammar, numeracy, assessment; Closing the Gap and EAL; and developing capacity for leadership at all levels.
We to offer training and support for teachers, leaders and managers, including governors, as well as support staff. Some of this is offered in conjunction with Governor Services, WIT and CPH.
